Description
The challenging Primland Treehouses project constructed luxury one-bedroom treehouses on Primland Resort’s 12,000-acre preserve. Elevated approximately 1,100 feet over the Dan River Gorge on the Blue Ridge plateau, the treehouses posed a unique challenge due to their location. Foundations were skillfully drilled into existing bedrock on the mountainside, and the rooms were crafted from Western Red Cedar to harmonize with the surrounding trees. The completed treehouses featured high-end finishes, offering 450 square feet of interior space and an additional 565 square feet of exterior decking. with breathtaking views of the Dan River Gorge.
