Wait Chapel-Huffman Hall Colonnade

The Wait Chapel/Huffman Hall Colonnade project provided significant renovations to the iconic colonnade connecting Wait Chapel and Huffman Hall on the Wake Forest University campus. The project involved the removal and replacement of all granite and bluestone surfaces, along with comprehensive waterproofing of the sub-slab over the maintenance tunnel and Huffman Hall’s ground floor. Additionally, a new stairway and ramp were constructed to improve accessibility from the Quad to Wait Chapel. The renovation also included the demolition and replacement of granite stairs at the rear exits of Huffman and Efird Halls.
