Description
The UNC Woollen Gym project renovated the UNC Women’s Basketball Team’s Practice Gym and the UNC Recreation Gym. The renovation included building a full-height wall for the women’s basketball training gym and replacing all windows, basketball goals, HVAC systems, and the roof in the recreation gym. The women’s practice space was upgraded with a new roof, HVAC, lighting, sound system, and new finishes. A former dance studio in the basement was converted into a new mechanical room, which involved detailed coordination and relocation of the studio. The project featured the restoration of historical windows to maintain the building’s original 1920s exterior.
